“NAESB Standard Hydrogen Contract – An Early Look” at 2pm CST on November 19

 

On October 23 the NAESB WGC Executive Committee approved a Standard Hydrogen Contract that is expected to be available for use in late November. As participants on the NAESB Contracts Committee,  CH2BA is hosting (with Gulf Energy Catalyst) this Early Look webinar.   This webinar reviews the key features of that NAESB contract such as:
- carbon intensity (CI) of hydrogen,
- CI protocols such as Open Hydrogen Initiative (OHI),
- hydrogen Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) based on CI,
- transactions with the EACs bundled or unbundled from physical hydrogen,
- the role of registries, 
- relationship to low-carbon ammonia transactions – and
- how this supports book-and-claim. 
The head of NAESB’s Contracts Subcommittee will be joining us to help answer questions about the contract.
 
We will also discuss:
•    How this can accelerate global clean hydrogen market demand and liquidity,
•    Emerging opportunities for any corporation/government interested in reducing the mobility carbon footprint of their (or their suppliers’) corporate fleets – potentially at no capital cost.
